Hello Frapuccinos and soy lattes.

A new Starbucks Coffee is planned for Franklin Square shopping center, with the entrances designed to face both U.S. 127 and the center's main structure.

The Frankfort-Franklin County Planning Commission on Thursday gave the O.K. to a development plan for the international coffeehouse chain, which was founded in Seattle in 1971. The company purchases and roasts whole bean coffees and sells them at its own stores and various grocery stores.

Starbucks also sells espresso beverages, pastries, and coffee-related accessories and equipment.

"Starbucks is going to be a good fit for that location," said attorney Charlie Jones, who represents the developers.
