A Louisville man, 52, was injured in a three-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon on Interstate-64 and was flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center, according to a report from Kentucky State Police. Greg Bond's vehicle was struck by a car driven by Heath S. Hershey of Lancaster, went out of control, crossed the median and struck a tractor-trailer driven by Bobby Huckaby of Columbia, Tenn. I-64 eastbound lanes were shut down for two hours and 45 minutes as Frankfort and Franklin County Fire and EMS workers worked to extricate Bond and police cleared the scene, according to the KSP report. Hershey was later arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, the report said.
