KSU class sets forum for state AG candidates

Carol Ann Harmon is a student of social science.

She spent last Monday night watching an attorney general candidate forum on KET. But for Harmon, a non-traditional student at Kentucky State University who also works as a nurse, the program was more "Saturday Night Live" than "Meet the Press."

"I think Comedy Central should buy the rights to it," said Harmon. "And I thought it was interesting that all of the candidates have been personally endorsed by God."

Harmon is a student in Professor Jim Graves' "Political Science 461-American Politics," an upper-level government course at KSU. Like the rest of the class, Harmon has been busy making a list of questions she wants the state's attorney general candidates to answer.

On Wednesday, the class will host an attorney general candidate election forum at 5 p.m. in the auditorium of the Academic Services building.
