Police hunt man accused of scam

An arrest warrant has been issued for Troy Hose, 35, current address unknown, on charges of theft by failure to make required disposition of property, a class D felony.

Frankfort Police are attempting to locate Hose or obtain information about his whereabouts in connection with these charges.

Hose, who claimed to be working for a business by the name of "Mothers Roofing and Remodeling," in June allegedly made off with $1,200 of the Dickersons' money after agreeing to put new windows in their home, asking for the money up front and then disappearing.

Shirley Dickerson said three other men Hose referred to as his sons put a new roof on their home on Hillcrest Street.

"My husband got his name out of the paper," Shirley Dickerson said. "We paid them half when they brought the shingles and paid them the other half when they finished."
