Five hurt in Georgetown Road collision

Five people were injured Saturday at the intersection of Georgetown Road and Equine DRive. Thre names were not available for release at press time. Two children and an adult male were in the white Mazda Tribute SUV that collided with a burgundy Volkswagen Jetta around 6:45 p.m. Two women were in the Jetta. Frankfort Police Lt. Rob Richardson said all five were injured in the accident and were transported to the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. The extent of their injuries was not known.
