Car hits restaurant, four hurt

By GAYLE COULTER State Journal Staff Writer Published:

Four employees of Wendy's restaurant, U.S. 127 south, were treated for injuries after a vehicle crashed into the side of the building around 2:45 p.m. Friday. The injuries were not life-threatening, according to the Frankfort Police Department. A driver turning off U.S. 127 onto King's Daughters Drive lost control of her vehicle, a police officer said. Alcohol was not a factor in the accident, the officer said. The accident is still under investigation and names of the driver, who was not injured, or injured Wendy's employees had not been released at press time.
