A Frankfort policewoman has been suspended for failing to pass a physical fitness test.

The officer failed to complete the 1 1/2-mile run component of a mandatory annual physical fitness test.

According to an order unanimously adopted by city commissioners Monday, Officer Glenda Michelle Albertson was suspended without pay and has six months to comply with the test requirements. The order states Albertson may try as many as three times within the six-month period to pass the test.

Albertson waived her right to a hearing. Commissioners met in closed session before issuing the order.

Failure to comply with the requirement could result in Albertson's dismissal, the order said.
