Kentucky State University's Board of Regents has finished interviewing four presidential candidates and began discussions Saturday on who will be KSU's next leader.
The new president could be announced in seven to 10 days, chairman William Wilson said. He declined further comment on the selection process.
The regents went into executive section early Saturday afternoon.
Dr. Bill Turner, KSU presidential candidate and KSU's interim president, was the last of the four presidential candidates to be interviewed.
Turner, 56, attended five forums between Wednesday and Friday in which he answered questions from alumni, foundation board members, community leaders, the public, students, KSU staff, faculty, deans and cabinet members.
