Kara Ruef, 17, of Owenton, and Jill Midkiff admire Ruef’s dress as she stands in front of mirrors at the Cinderella’s Closet event at First United Methodist Church Saturday. Cinderella’s Closet provided formal wear, shoes and accessories free of charge to approximately 100 girls from Frankfort and the surrounding area who couldn’t otherwise afford the items for prom.
