City, state police join for trafficking arrest

State Journal Staff Report Published:

A Frankfort man has been charged with trafficking in prescription pills following a joint investigation by city and state police.

Antonio Edwards, 36, faces three counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance after officers with KSP and Frankfort Police executed a search warrant at an apartment on the 200 block of Centennial Avenue and found prescription pills and cash late Tuesday, according to a press release from Frankfort police.

Police say Edwards trafficked drugs at the location.

Edwards was also arrested on a contempt of court warrant and booked in Franklin County Regional Jail, where he’s held without bond.
