An accident along Interstate 64 in western Franklin County caused a traffic backup and sent three people to the hospital this morning.
The wreck happened in the eastbound lanes near the Graefenburg exit around 8 a.m.
According to LEX 18, police say a van sideswiped a Budget rental van and a car from Idaho as it was changing from the slow to the fast lane.
EMS took at least three people to the hospital for treatment and there has been no information released on their conditions, the TV station said.
