No injuries in big wreck on U.S. 60

State Journal staff report Published:

No one – not even a horse – was injured during a Thursday morning accident along Versailles Road, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Two cars and a horse trailer were damaged after an accident in the westbound lane when Pauline Sandifer, 70, driving a maroon Mazda turned left on the highway from Hoover Boulevard.

Sandifer said she didn’t see the trailer, driven by James Aubrey, 54, of Louisville, and pulled in front of it on the inside westbound lane. Sandifer’s Mazda then struck a 2007 Toyota passenger car driven by William Morton, 67.
