Two injured in morning wreck

Two from Frankfort were injured this morning after a collision on U.S. 127.

Nineteen-year-old Aaron Cunningham of Frankfort was injured after he attempted to make a left turn onto Limestone Street from U.S. 127 around 7:50 a.m. today, Maj. Fred Deaton said in a news release.

Cunningham pulled into the path of a northbound Toyota SUV driven by 31-year-old Natasha Evans of Frankfort.

Frankfort Fire and EMS took Cunningham to Frankfort Regional Medical Center for treatment. Evans was also taken to the hospital by a private vehicle.
