Capt. Chad White of New Castle has been named a post commander at the Kentucky State Police Post 12 in Frankfort, according to a news release.
White spent 12 years at Post 5 in Campbellsburg, where he served as sergeant, lieutenant, captain and commander of internal affairs and the Financial Grants Management branch.
A native of Shelby County, he lives in New Castle with his wife and three children.
