Here are classes, blood drives and other activities involving the Franklin County Chapter of the American Red Cross, 318 Washington St. For more information call 223-1795 or (800) 578-4904. Unless otherwise stated, all are held at the Chapter House.
Pre-registration for all training classes is required. To register for classes and pay with a credit card, visit https://classes.redcross.org or call (800) 733-7267. To qualify for “Review” training, students must have been previously certified within the past two years. All certifications are now valid for two years.
Blood donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with written parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health on donation day.

Wednesday, Sept. 19: 9-11 a.m., Adult CPR/AED Review training, $55/person; 11-noon, Bloodborne Pathogens training, $50/person
Friday, Sept. 21: 8:30-2, Bloodmobile at the Chapter House; 3:30, Nursing Home Bingo at Golden Living Rehab Center on Old Soldiers Ln.
Wednesday, Sept. 26: 9-3, Adult First Aid/CPR/AED training, $90/person; 3-4, Bloodborne Pathogens training, $50/person
Friday, Sept. 28: 8:30-2, Bloodmobile at the Chapter
