PARKINSON'S GROUP TO MEET TONIGHT
The Parkinson’s Support Group will meet today at Thorn Hill Education Center, 700 Leslie Ave.
Members will gather at 5:30 p.m. to visit and share a snack with each other, and the quest speaker will begin at 6 p.m.
Neurologist Dr. Blake, who has a practice in Lexington, will give an update on a new patch that provides needed medication for Parkinson’s patients. He will also answer any other questions group members may have.
This group is open to all people, including those with Parkinson’s, caregivers, friends or anyone interested in knowing more about it.

GIRL SCOUT INFORMATIONAL MEETING THURSDAY
A Girl Scout parent information meeting will be 6 p.m. Thursday at Highland Christian Church, 265 Versailles Road, at Lyons Drive.

WALK/BIKE MEMBERSHIP MEETING SATURDAY
Walk/Bike Frankfort is holding a general membership meeting 10 a.m. Saturday at the Ward Oates Amphitheatre in River View Park.
The meeting will feature a discussion on cycling and pedestrian issues, children’s activities and refreshments.
Membership in Walk/Bike costs $5, and benefits include Frankfort Transit passes and discounts at several local businesses.
Walk/Bike will celebrate the dedication and opening of the River View Trail after the meeting at 11 a.m.
