Cable, telecom service briefly interrupted by backup power failure

Cable, Internet and phone service was briefly interrupted for Frankfort Plant Board customers today after a backup power supply failed.

In a statement, the plant board said the system-wide outage happened at 9:46 a.m., but service was restored within three minutes.

“Technicians became aware of the issue and immediately began working to restore service,” the plant board said. “… We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we worked through this issue.”
