Police search for suspect in stabbing

Argument allegedly escalated into assault

A 42-year-old man was stabbed in his left hand and groin area Saturday night on Letcher Avenue.

Thomas Bowman, of Frankfort, was taken to Frankfort Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released. An active arrest warrant has been issued for Thomas McCoy, 32, of Frankfort for second degree assault.

The stabbing apparently was the result of an argument that escalated into the assault, according to a release from Frankfort Police.

McCoy is described as a 5-foot-11, 130-pound white male with brown hair and a ponytail. He walks with a limp and a cane. Police are asking anyone with information on McCoy’s whereabouts to call Officer Mitchell Blum at 875-8523.
