A Franklin County woman allegedly stole $20,000 from two elderly veterans she cared for by fudging her time sheets and lying about expenses, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.
Cammie Henson, 43, was arrested Wednesday on two charges of knowingly exploiting an adult for more than $300 and two counts of being a persistent felony offender, according to the report.
Henson allegedly stole from Jack Browning Sr., a Korean War veteran who died in June, and Jack Browning Jr., a former Marine who was severely injured in a motorcycle accident. The two men reportedly required 24-hour care.
Henson allegedly padded her time cards and lied about extra expenses.
Henson admitted to investigators that she had taken the money, according to the report.
