Ann Mattingly puts her visitor sticker on the Capital Plaza Tower’s turkey sticker ball dressed as Santa Thursday afternoon. Front desk receptionist Penny Monroe said that the ball was started nine years ago and is solely made of stickers. When Thanksgiving came around this year, Monroe said they decided to turn it into a turkey. “We thought that’s kind of dumb, lets do something interesting, “ Monroe said. After Thanksgiving passed, they couldn’t get rid of him, she said, so they added a Santa hat and some garland around the table it sits on. Monroe said they plan to keep the ball as a turkey all year-round.
