A new fuel station was established on the west side of town, but it’s not for your ordinary traveler.

The Garden Club of Frankfort along with Collins Lane Elementary School students, planted a 10x10 foot area at the school with native plants that attract migrating monarch butterflies.

“I hope the students understand the butterfly and realize they have a duty to take care of the earth,” Karen Nance, president of the garden club said. “It’s a place for the monarchs to come and be happy.”
