Friday
>Buck Run Baptist Church, 6:30 p.m., adult Christmas program, The Wonder of Christmas.
>Bridgeport Christian Church, 175 Evergreen Rd., will hold its annual Christmas Musical program, presented by the adult and youth choirs, at 7 p.m. Nursery provided.
>Parents Night Out, 6-8 p.m., Camp Pleasant Baptist Church, 830 Shadrick Ferry Rd. For children 3-13.
Saturday
>The L.I.F.E. House for animals will hold a Blessing of the Animals from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Prevention Park Chapel. A reception will be held during and after the events.
>Christmas Cantata, A Carol to the King, 6:30 p.m., First Church of the Nazarene fellowship hall, 124 Myrtle Ave. Refreshments will be served.
>107th Annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count in Franklin County. The objective is to monitor the status and distribution of bird populations across the western hemisphere. For more information or to become involved, call Peggy Gould, 226-6116.

>Adult choir presents Christmas is Forever, 7 p.m. on Dec. 16 and at 11 a.m. Dec. 17, North Benson Baptist Church, 4548 Devils Hollow Rd.
>Bluegrass Railroad Museums Santa Train departing at 2 p.m. each day from 175 Beasley Rd. across from the Falling Springs Recreation Center, Versailles.
Sunday
>New Harvest Assembly of Gods Sanctuary Choir will perform their Christmas Cantata entitled Come! In the Grace of Glory, at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Admission is free. The Church is located at 101 Woodhill Lane, Suite 5.
>The Episcopal Church of the Ascension at 311 Washington St. will hold the service of Lessons and Carols at its 10:30 a.m. service.
>Christmas Cantata, A Carol to the King, 10:45 a.m., First Church of the Nazarene fellowship hall, 124 Myrtle Ave. Refreshments will be served.
>Christmas cantata, Shine On Us, 10:45 a.m., Highland Christian Church, 265 Versailles Rd. at Lyons Drive. Nursery provided. For more information call 875-3100.

>Glens Creek Baptist Church will hold a Christmas dinner and a performance of the Glens Creek Christmas Cantata at 11 a.m. at the church, 4678 Steele Rd. A nursery will be provided.

>Laura Bell Bundy will be featured in a Christmas concert presented by the Bluegrass Area Jazz Association, 2 p.m. in Memorial Hall on the University of Kentucky campus. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for students and seniors. They will be available at the door.
