Six disciplined and dedicated students at Frankfort School of Ballet make up Shannon Gale’s pointe class. They say they love to dance, and are especially fond of their teacher.
"They are beautiful," Frankfort School of Ballet director and instructor Shannon Gale said. "They are really good, strong, hard-working students."
The students say they willingly accept the criticism that comes from Gale. "Sometimes she’ll come over and, like, move you," dancer Emily Sudkamp said of Gale’s hands-on correction of technique.
"She has cold hands. That encourages you to do better. Her hands are always cold."
Frankfort School of Ballet dancers will perform May 5 at the Governor’s Derby Breakfast.
For more information about classes, call the school at 226-6443 or visit the Web site at http://www.frankfort...x.html.
