Bettie LeBus Waller, 86, died May 7 at home. She was born April 27, 1922 in Cynthiana, Kentucky to the late Lewis Martin LeBus and Ethel Reynolds LeBus. She attended Science Hill in Shelbyville, KY and graduated from The Hockaday School in Dallas, Texas.She attended the University of Kentucky.Shelived in Atlanta for 45 years working for the IRS and the Victoria Station restaurant group, was a charter member of the Atlanta High Museum of Art and a charter member of the Cherokee Town and Country Club.She was a member of the Peachtree Christian Church. She was formerly married to Richard H. Waller Jr. Although she maintained a home in Atlanta, shehas residedin Lexington for the last 15 years.She always enjoyedworld traveling. There never was a mother more committed with love to her four boys and their families. Survivors include her four sons; Richard H. Waller III and wife Sheila, Chapel Hill, NC, John LeBus Waller, Atlanta, GA, Thomas Bryan Waller and his wife Pamela, Canton, GA, and David Reynolds Waller, Frankfort, KY.Her grandchildrenare Lisa Waller and her husband Tony Greco, Kelly Waller, Delaney Waller, and Bryan Waller.Her Caregivers were Earlene Prokopec, Nancy McQuarrie, and Sandra Flynn. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John LeBus of Highlands, NC, and Orie LeBus of Cynthiana, KY.Graveside services will be at the Battle Grove Cemetery in Cynthiana at 11 o'clock on Monday, May 12.Friends are welcome to gather at her home on Sunday, May 11 from 4 to 6 p.m.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be made to the donor's favorite charity.
