Baseball at Paul Weddle Stadium is up and running

The Cal Ripken League's baseball season has begun. Here are the results of league games played recently at Paul Weddle Stadium.

Indians 9, First Federal 3

Quentin Brownlee went 3-for-3 with two triples and a double for the Indians, and Alex McKinney went 2-for-2 with a triple and single.

Also getting hits for the Indians were Jackson O'Daniel with a double, and Danny Branham, Christian Kinder and Alex Bullock each with a single.

Brownlee and McKinney pitched.

For First Federal, Matt Mello, Collin Rutledge, Matthew Quire, Taylor Strickland and Brendon Cummins each had a base hit.

Mello and Seth Gyr pitched.

AFB 5, Optimist 3

Dre Scott led AFB's offense with two hits " a double and single. Adam Goss, Bradley Bennett, Zac Miller, Jared Stephens and Trey Farmer all singled for AFB. Scott and Bennett pitched.

Conner Brown hit a double and single for Optmist, Michael Hurt hit a double, and Joe Cheek singled.

Hurt and Conner Brown pitched for Optimist.

E. Frankfort Kiwanis 8, Farmers Bank 0

Petey Gall hit a double for EFK, and Chase Mahoney, Ben Griffin, Seth Roush, Chase Schell and Chris Ward all singled. Kyle Fisher pitched.

Farmers Bank didn't have a hit.

Optmist 9, Events Imaging 3

Conner Brown hit two triples for Optimist, and Will Nash went 3-for-3 with three singles. Matt Owen doubled, and Ryan Cheek had a base hit. Brown and Michael Hurt pitched.

Alex Hunter hit a triple, and Tyne Nickel singled for Events Imaging. Dawson Willis, Hunter and Nickel pitched.

Indians 9, Stars 6

Quentin Brownlee hit a triple and two singles for the Indians, and Zack Hillard singled twice. The team's other hits were a triple by Chris Brooks, a double by Alex McKinney and a single by Jackson O'Daniel. McKinney pitched.

Samuel Mackey hit a double for the Stars, and Collin Harris, McKinley Stonewall and Noah Bartley each had a base hit.

Mackey, Harris and Chance Hudnall pitched.

Investors Heritage 8, AfB 1

Brandon Smither hit two singles for Investors Heritage, and Ryan Schneider, Tanner Harrod and Aaron Stratton all singled.

Schneider and Harrod pitched.

AFB's hits were a double by Zack Wunderlich and singles by Trey Farmer and Zack Miller. Farmer,
Bradley Bennett and Dre Scott pitched.

First Federal 5, Stars 3

Zack Barker and Seth Gyr both singled twice for First Federal. Matt Mello hit a triple, and Matt Quire and Taylor Strickland each had a base hit. Barker pitched.

Collin Harris hit a home run and single to account for the Stars' hits. Chance Hudnall pitched.

AfB 8, E. Frankfort Kiwanis 6

Dre Scott and Zach Miller both hit two singles for AFB. Matthew Lee doubled, and Adam Goss had a base hit. Trey Farmer pitched.

EFK's hits were two singles by Chase Mahoney, and singles by Petey Gall, Chase Schell and Ben Griffin. Griffin pitched.

Events Imaging 4, Investors Heritage 3

Dawson Willis went 3-for-3 with three singles and scored the winning run in the sixth inning for Events Imaging.

Tyne Nickel and Matthew Collins also had a base hit for Events Imaging, and Alex Hunter pitched.

Brandon Smither hit a double for Investors Heritage, and Kyle Stevens, Ryan Schneider and Tristin Peach all hit singles. Smither pitched.

Indians 7, Farmers Bank 6

Alex McKinney hit a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning for the Indians' winning run. McKinney went 4-for-4 with a home run and four singles.

Quentin Brownlee singled twice, and Keegan Goddard and Christian Kinder each had a base hit for the Indians. Brownlee and McKinney pitched.

Zach Durham went 3-for-3 with a home run, triple and double for Farmers Bank. Taylor Carr hit a double and single, Frederick Agyemon hit a triple, and Rich Kemper and Jeffrey Quire each had a base hit. Jimmy Bailey and Quire pitched.

Investors Heritage 3, Optimist 2

Investors Heritage had three hits " a double by Tristin Peach and singles by Kyle Stevens and Blake Turner. Ryan Schneider pitched.

Optimist's hits were a double by Conner Brown and singles by Will Nash and Ryan Cheek. Brown pitched.

Farmers Bank 5, First Federal 3

Five of Farmers Bank's six hits went for extra bases. Zach Durham was 3-for-3 with three doubles, Rich Kemper hit a triple, and Taylor Carr doubled. Armand Hall had a base hit. Durham pitched.

First Federal's hits were singles by Seth Gyr and Wesley Rhody. Matthew Mello, Colin Rutledge and Zack Barker pitched.

E. Frankfort Kiwanis 12, Events Imaging 4

Kyle Fisher hit two doubles for EFK, and Chase Schell, Chris Ward and Tanner Marcum each had a base hit. Seth Roush and Fisher pitched.

Matt Collins singled twice for Events Imaging, and Ben Sands, Logan Duke and Dawson Willis each hit a single. Raheem Maxwell, Duke and Alex Hunter pitched.

AF Bank 12, Indians 3

Adam Goss hit a double and triple for AFB, Zack Miller doubled twice, Dre Scott hit a double, and Trey Farmer, Jared Stephens, Matthew Lee and David Quintana all hit a single. Scott and Bradley Bennett pitched.

The Indians' hits were singles by Christian Kinder and Zack Hillard. Quentin Brownlee and Hillard pitched.
