A multi-state search for a man wanted for murder on Marlowe Court in January is over.

U.S. Marshals have arrested Demetrius McClellon, 18, sought in the Jan. 24 murder of Jonathan L. McFadden, 20, police said.

Police said marshals caught McClellon on Cleveland Avenue in Cincinnati Wednesday. McClellon is being held in Hamilton County, Ohio, awaiting extradition to Kentucky, police said.

Frankfort police found McFadden shot in the head at 1:21 a.m. at the Hickory Hills Manor Apartments in East Frankfort. McFadden was taken to Frankfort Regional Medical Center and then airlifted to the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center where he died.

Investigators with Frankfort police filed a criminal complaint against McClellon in May.

They questioned Ritchie Williams, of Jefferson County, after police stopped him along with the victim's brother, leaving the area near the scene of McFadden's slaying.

Williams was not charged in relation to McFadden's shooting, but was arrested on outstanding warrants in Jefferson County.

McClellon was 17 at the time McFadden was murdered.

They also take the circumstances surrounding the situation into account. I'm pretty sure this was no "Bullying" retaliation, it appears as though it was cold blodded murder. I would be shocked if he wasn't tried as an adult.

It doesn't matter the age of the arrest. The issue is how old when he did the crime.
