The Preservation Rendezvous was presented by the Preservation Trades Network and the Timber Framers Guild in partnership with the Kentucky Heritage Council, the Frankfort-Franklin County Tourist Commission and the City of Frankfort. Two workshops include Timber Frame Picnic Shelter Workshop and the Log Meat House Workshop. Welcome Frankfort Day is at River View Park Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Demonstrations of blacksmithing, wood carving, log notching and other activities will be open to the public.
