Katherine “Kathy” Wash Woolums Wood Craig, 59, died Saturday, October 24, 2009. She was born in Frankfort on August 22, 1950. She retired from Bell South, was a former employee of the Department of Transportation and Kroger. She also was retired and served 20 years in the United States Army Reserve, 100th Division-Frankfort. She is survived by her daughter, Shelley Dawn Wood of Frankfort; two sons, Robert Lee Woolums Jr. and Ronnie Joe Wood, both of Frankfort; four grandchildren, Ethan and Christian Woolums, and Zachary and Nicholas Wood; three sisters, Madline (Harold) Markey, Cary Moore, both of Frankfort and Lisa Ritchie of Lawrenceburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Agnes and Ike Gray, her father, Billy Ray Wash, and her grandson, Dustin Woolums. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Clark Funeral Home-Versailles Road with Reverend Bert Patterson officiating. Casket bearers are Bobby Woolums, Chris Edwards, Chris Markey, Todd Moore, Jeff Robinson and Adam Ritchie. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Children’s Miracle Network and condolences may be left at www.clarkfuneralchapels.com.
