Graveside services and burial for James Cecil “Jamie” Woolums, 49, Lexington, will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2009 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Jessamine County. Rev. Tim Jumpp will officiate. Visitation will be at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Jamie died Wednesday, October 28 2009 at the VA Medical Center, Lexington.

He was born August 7, 1960 in Woodford County. He served in the Army and was a self-employed tree trimmer.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Wiley Woolums, Frankfort; children, Jeramie Sharfe, Kyle Woolums, Kayla Woolums, Frankfort, Katherine Thompson, OH; sisters, Paula McDonald, Frankfort, Charlotta W. Rice, Lexington; and granddaughter, Katelynn Jo Sharfe.

He was the son of the late Charles Woolums and Ruth Aldridge Smith and was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Munk.
