The Thomas More College men’s soccer team posted its seventh shutout of the season as it defeated Saint Vincent College, 2-0, Wednesday at Bearcat Field in Latrobe, Pa.

With the win the Saints improve to 15-2 on the season and with the loss the Bearcats fall to 7-11-2.

Thomas More sophomore goalkeeper Zack Lawson played all 90 minutes in goal and recorded two saves as he posted his sixth shutout of the season and improved his record to 15-2 on the season.

Lawson is a graduate of Frankfort High School.

The Saints extended their school-record winning streak to eight games. They had already clinched at least a share of the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the PAC championship tournament.

Thomas More wraps up the regular season on Saturday when it hosts Waynesburg University on Senior Day at The Bank of Kentucky Field in Crestview Hills.  The match is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
