Charles L. Benningfield, age 81, of Shelbyville died Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville, Kentucky.
Survivors include: wife of 60 years, Mardell Benningfield, Shelbyville, KY; daughter, Connie Benningfield, Shelbyville, KY; three half brothers, Clyde, Jimmy and Billy Benningfield, all of Taylor County, KY; two half sisters, Betty Bright, Taylor Co., KY, and Mattie Burton, Elizabethtown, KY; one niece and one nephew.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Shannon Funeral Home in Shelbyville, KY.
