Veterans Day tourney is Wednesday
The third annual Veterans Day Golf Tournament will take place Wednesday at Juniper Hill Golf Course.
The format is an 18-hole, four-player team scramble, and each team must use four drives/handicaps.
The scramble begins at 8:30 a.m., and the entry fee is $10.
The scramble includes prizes for closest pins on all 3 pars/shootout, a putting contest and two straightest drives. Team skin is $20 extra.
The tournament will benefit the Western Hills High School ROTC.

JHGA will meet Nov. 22
There will be a general membership meeting of the Juniper Hill Golf Association on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 9 a.m. at the clubhouse. All members are invited to attend.
There will be discussion on the previous season and the coming changes for next year. There will also be an election of officers for the coming year.
SOFTBALL
Batcats’ pancake breakfast will be Saturday
The Central Kentucky 10U Batcats fast-pitch softball team is hosting a pancake breakfast on Saturday, Nov. 14 from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the Frankfort Applebee’s.
The cost is $5, and tickets can be bought in advance or at the door the day of the event.
