Perry L. Goins, 57, died Thursday, November 12, 2009.
He was born November 10, 1952 in Franklin County to Anna L. Goins of Frankfort and the late Edgar Joseph Goins.
He was a retired employee of the Department of Transportation and Keeneland. He was a member of Elks Lodge and a member and on the Board of Directors for the Frankfort Boat Club.
He is survived by his wife, Lettie Alexander Goins of Frankfort; stepdaughter, Tammie (John) Conatser of Nicholasville; stepson, David P. Turner of Nicholasville; two grandchildren, Amberly Hines and Ezra Turner; three sisters, Susan (Bryan) Phillips of Frankfort, Betty Ann (Harey) Baron of Aventura, Florida, and Cindy (Tom) Dailey of Atlanta, Georgia; nieces, Anna Phillips, Adare Dailey and Clare Dailey; nephew, Joey Phillips; and his beloved companion, Fritz.
Funeral service is 5:30 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2009 at Clark Funeral Home-Versailles Rd. with Reverend Todd Lester officiating. A gathering of family and friends will immediately follow until 8 p.m.
