Frankfort Police are looking for a man who robbed a Shelby County man at gunpoint on Crosshill Drive 9:15 p.m. Nov. 23.

Robert Goodlett, 29, of Mount Eden, told police a black man about 5 feet 10 inches tall wearing a tan colored coat with fur around the top of the hood, jeans and latex gloves approached him as he got out of his vehicle in a parking lot in the 900 block of Crosshill Drive.

The man stuck a silver handgun in Goodlett’s face and demanded money, police reported. Police declined to say how much money, if any, was stolen.

“We’re carrying it as a robbery because he demanded cash with the use of a firearm,” Maj. Fred Deaton said Tuesday.

Police say the robber fled on foot toward Louisville Road.

Goodlett told police he was visiting a relative who lives in the nearby apartment complex on Crosshill Drive.

Police ask anyone with information to call Frankfort/Franklin County Crime Stoppers at 875-8648. Information is kept anonymous and police may give up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest.

Wouldn't you want help from the public in an attempt to ID a person that put a gun in your face.
