FRANKFORT - Services for Della Jane Prather Webster, 87 yrs., of Frankfort, will be conducted from Harrod Brothers Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2010 with Rev. Gerald Summerfield and Rev. Jeff Sargent officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Woodford Co. Visitation will be Sunday, February 7, 2010 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Dover Manor Nursing Home, Georgetown, following an illness. A native of Owen County, she was born, March 18, 1922 and was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and served over fifty years of faithful service as a Sunday School Teacher at Elk Lick Baptist Church in Owen County and Bethel Baptist Church. She is survived by her brothers, Silas Prather, Owen Co., Revel Prather, Grant Co.; sisters, Clara Kelly, Shelby Co., Janet Riddle, Frankfort; grandchildren, Jeff Cross, VA, Melody Forsythe, WA; and great grandchildren, Maddie, Aiden and Baz Cross, all of VA. She was the widow of Kenneth J. Webster and was the daughter of the late Amos and Eartha Perkins Prather and was also preceded by her daughter, Bonnie Davis, her sisters, Hallie Clifton, Beulah Chipman, Eula Ernest and her brother, Amos Prather Jr. Pallbearers will be Dallas Kelly, Robert Chipman, Eddie Chipman, Shannon Riddle, Rick Zirkle, Philip Clifton and E.T. Glass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass/Frankfort Office, 208 Steele St., Frankfort, KY 40601. Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home; condolences may be shared via the online guest book at www.harrodbrothersfuneralhome.com.
