Pairing set for district tournament

The pairings have been set for the 41st District basketball tournament to be played at the Frankfort Convention Center Feb. 22, 23 and 25.


On Monday, Feb. 22 the tournament starts off with the top-seeded Franklin County girls team taking on Frankfort High at 6:30 p.m.


At 8:15 Franklin County’s boys team, the No. 1 seed, plays Frankfort High.


The tournament continues Tuesday with the third-seeded Western Hills girls facing No. 2 Woodford County at 6:30 p.m., followed by the No. 3 WHHS boys team versus second-seeded Woodford at 8:15.


The championship games will be played Thursday with the girls game at 6:30 p.m. and the boys game at 8:15.


All four teams in the championship games will advance to the 11th Region tournaments.

I hope that Frankfort High Panthers beat Franklin County! Chalk head man @ Co. left FHS to as he put it, have a CHANCE at least with FCHS, to go to the State Tourney? Well coach, been to any?? And Panthers beat County, he will want to go to Western Hills! lol GO PANTHERS!
