I recommend Black Flag or good old fashioned brake cleaner. I don't mind them out in their own element, but I don't much care for them around the house.

As an aside, I do have honeybees, but there a whole different critter...and they aren't around the house..

I have to agree with SoldiersWife. I let them live in a hole on my porch and they thanked me by attacking me every time I walked outside. Those big red ones can tear meat from your butt too!! Ouch!!!!!

I guess while walking through MY yard, I was invaded their space. Which "bothered" the wasps causing them to "bother" me. I was hit by 2 not 1 but 2 of them. Resulting in 2 stings - OUCH!!

So I have to disagree with your statement....."they won't bother you if you don't bother them"
