FRANKFORT, Ky. " Services for Rebecca Sue "Sue A." Allen Goins, 70, of Switzer Road, will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at North Fork Baptist Church. Burial will follow at North Fork Cemetery.

She died Friday, May 2, 2008, at her son's residence following a long illness.
Born November 17, 1937, she was a native of Franklin Co. and was retired from Kentucky State Police with over thirty-five years of employment. She was a lifelong member of North Fork Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Hugh Goins Jr. (Mary Ann) and two daughters, Ann Louise Goins and Bette Dudley Goins, all of Frankfort; three sisters, Louise Lane (Joe), Lexington, Norma Harrod (George) and Helen Parrent, both of Frankfort; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Clay T. and Mary Edna Hawkins Allen.
Rev. Jay Stratton will officiate the service.

Pallbearers will be Adam Goins, J.C. Hollon, Tyler Winn, Joel Espinosa, Bradley Butler and Ronald Tackett.

Honorary bearers will be Stephanie Winn, Rebecca Winn Flynn, Jennifer Hollon, Amy Hollon and Lauri Espinosa.

Visitation will be Monday, May 5, 2008, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel.

Flowers are welcome, but expressions of sympathy may be made to the United Way of Franklin County, 119 W. Main St., Frankfort, Ky. 40601 or North Fork Baptist Church, 3660 Rocky Branch Road, Frankfort, Ky. 40601.

Helen: I'm so sorry to hear about Sue. I always loved your family and have so many good memories of your parents home in Switzer. My heart and prayers are with you all. If I can do anything for you please let me know.
