Mary Wilson Bell passed away peacefully in her home after a short illness on May 4, 2008. She was a Frankfort native and a life long resident. Born August 26, 1910 to Letiticia Rodman Wilson and Henry Clay Wilson, Mary was a direct descendent of Kentucky's second governor, James Garrard. She is preceded in death by her husband, William S. Bell and her sister, Florence Wilson South. Mary is survived by her daughter, Nancy J. Hudson (Jerry), Crystal Beach, FL; her son, Robert S. Burchell (Jean), Jersey Shore, PA; nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, a niece and nephew, Carol South Roe (Joe) and Jack South (Judy), both of Louisville.
Pallbearers will be David Lannon, Don Hudson, Joe Roe, Todd Roe, Mark Roe and David Brown. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy are requested to Hospice of the Bluegrass/Frankfort Office, 208 Steele St., Frankfort, Ky. 40601.
