Services for Ann Doris Hutcherson Otten, 79, of Frankfort, will be conducted from North Fork Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009. Rev. Jay Stratton will officiate. Burial will follow at Switzer Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 1, 2009 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.

She died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center following an illness.

A native of Franklin County, she was born August 14, 1929, and was retired from Webster Electric Company. Mrs. Otten was a member of the Switzer Ruritan Club and was a life-long member of North Fork Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Jane (David) Scottow and Marsha Otten, both of Frankfort; sisters, Saragarnett Lewis, Frankfort, Jessamine Smith, Louisville, Peggy Estill, Shelbyville; grandchildren, Lauren Scottow, Stephen Otten; step-grandchildren, Amanda LeMaster, Zeb Varble; and two great grandchildren.

She was the widow of Charles Otten and was the daughter of the late John William and Jessie Bea Curry Hutcherson. Mrs. Otten was also preceded in death by her son, Neville Otten.

Pallbearers will be great nephews, Casey Sparrow, Kyle Sparrow, Corey Sparrow, Kip Sparrow, Charlie Scott Lewis and Rob Lewis.

Flowers are welcome or expressions of sympathy may be made in memory of Mrs. Otten to North Fork Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 7945 Owenton Rd., Frankfort, KY 40601 or Hospice of the Bluegrass/Frankfort Office, 208 Steele St., Frankfort, KY 40601.
