Janice Hawkins, 67, widow of James Hawkins died Monday, February 8, 2010. She was a native of Madison County, an employee of Concord Custom Cleaners and a member of First Nazarene Church. She is survived by her mother and father, Vannie and Dorothy Masters Collins; daughter, Susan McElroy of Frankfort; son, Steven McElroy of Frankfort; three grandchildren, Derek McElroy, Erek McElroy, both of Frankfort, and Brandon Scott of Ohio; one great grandchild, Gabriel McElroy of Frankfort; his sister, Sharon Case of Winchester; and his brother, Logan Collins of Shelbyville. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hawkins.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Clark Funeral Home-Versailles Road with Reverend Todd Lester officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers are Derek McElroy, Iver Standard, Tony Bowman, Erek McElroy, Kermit Caudill, Brandon Scott and Jimmy Stamper. Visitation is 12-2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
