I wanna tell you something about Magees Bakery located downtown. It is sure worth the drive downtown to purchase some of their doughnuts and cookies.
I bought some doughnuts the other day for a work function and they literally melted in our mouths. They were fluffy and light. We loved them and will be going back.
We have previously bought doughnuts from the chain store bakeries and they tasted liked they looked ... machine made, identical appearance, tasted like cardboard with sugar all over it.
Not anymore, I'm going to only purchase my bakery goods from my local downtown bakery.
By supporting your local businesses, we keep our money circulating in Frankfort, support our downtown, and keep our local flavor downtown. (pun intended)
