A motorcyclist is in critical condition after being injured in a collision Saturday afternoon on U.S. 127 in West Frankfort, a hospital spokesperson says.
Belinda Moore, 45, and Robert Moore, 48, both of Frankfort, were riding a Harley-Davidson Sportster motorcycle north-bound on U.S. 127 at Limestone. They collided with a white 2002 Toyota Highlander SUV at approximately 6 p.m., according to police.
Robert Moore was listed as being in fair condition Monday morning and Belinda Moore was in critical condition, according to the spokesperson at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
The SUV was heading south on 127 and driven by Amy Lee, 26, of Frankfort, with three children as passengers police said. No one in the SUV was injured.
The Moores were transported to Frankfort Regional Medical Center before being airlifted to UK.
