Ailes, Jones lead after first round of Governor's

Tim Ailes took the first-round lead by three strokes in the professional division of the Governor's Open at Juniper Hill Golf Course Saturday with a score of 60. Josh Jones shot a 66 and leads the amatuer division by two strokes over Bill Woolums.

Last year's professional champion, Cory Kaufman sits in second with a 63. Steve Cox is a stroke behind him and Jamie Frazier, Marion Dantzier and Michael Woodson are six strokes behind the leader at 66.
Jon Tandy, last years amateur champion, is four strokes back, 70, tied for fourth place with Adam Hovermale and Bill Damron. Barney Sutley is in third with a 69.

The lead group for the professionals - Ailes, Kaufman, Cox and Woodson - tee off today at 2:10 p.m.
The lead amateur group - Jones, Wollumns, Sutley and Damron - will tee off on No. 10 at 2:30 p.m.
