The 25th District soccer tournaments and the 39th District volleyball tournament will all be played this week.
Soccer
The tournaments get underway tonight with the boys tournament being played at Sower Soccer Field and the girls tournament at Anderson County.
In the boys tournament tonight, Frankfort and Franklin County play at 6 p.m., followed by Western Hills versus Owen County at 8.
Anderson County and Woodford County both earned first-round byes. On Tuesday the winner of the Frankfort-Franklin County match will play Woodford at 6, and the WHHS-Owen County winner takes on Anderson at 8.
The championship match will be Thursday at 8 p.m.
On the girls side, Western Hills and Owen County play tonight at 6 p.m., and Frankfort and Franklin County will play at 8.
The semifinals will be played Wednesday with Anderson County and Woodford County both earning berths in those matches.
Woodford will play the winner of the WHHS-Owen County match Wednesday at 6 p.m., followed by the winner of the Frankfort-Franklin County match taking on Anderson County at 8.
The championship match will be played Thursday at 6 p.m.
Volleyball
The 39th District tournament will be played Tuesday at Franklin County.
FCHS and Woodford County will meet at 6 p.m., and the winner advances to the championship match against Western Hills. That match is scheduled for 7 p.m.
