LEAVE ME THE ^!! ALONE!
I feel better now.
Its amazing how often we decide that the politicians do not really know what is in our best interests and stage a little private, individual protest, even though it means we are breaking the law.
How many of you decided that 55 mph was ridiculous and drove faster?
Know anyone that smoked a Cuban cigar?
Ever taken medicines from someone else's prescription or taken your meds from the labeled bottle and placed them in a pill case?
Ever bought something on the Internet from out-of-state and not paid any State's sales tax?
All are crimes, some are felonies. Yet you all know someone that is an otherwise law-abiding, upstanding, respectable citizen that has committed at least one of these acts, probably yourself! "Now son, this is the medicine the doctor gave me last year for the same thing. I'm going to put a couple in this bottle so you can take them with you to school and" Oops.
Now, "they" want to block Internet access to "illegal" gambling sites. I play on some of these sites, for free! It's FUN! But "they" want to ban them. I also play, for free, through AOL games. Is that Internet domain going to be seized as well, or just the politically incorrect sites?
Proving the sites have blocked KY users is pointless. If someone really wanted to, they can always route through anonymous, international servers to gain access. But if the politicians admitted that, they wouldn't have their names all over the paper!
But if this succeeds, what will they grab next as being criminal, sites that don't charge KY sales tax? Hmm, taxes, and publicity, bet that's what this is all about anyway!
