I have many used tennis shoes that are intact (no holes, but the tread on the soles are worn down (still perfectly good, though I can't use them for tennis), and with good laces.
I want to donate them to a charity or homeless shelter, but I can't find anyone nearby having a 24/7 drop-off, much less one that doesn't want them unless they are in near-new condition. Goodwill wasn't interested; local churches didn't seem to know of anyone in town (there are a few out-of-State organizations that will take them, but I don't want to spend $50 in gas for a roundtrip just to give sneakers!).
Any help would be appreciated!
