Information packets and consent forms will be available at schools by the end of the week. Students must have a signed consent form to participate.
The Franklin County Health Department will administer the vaccine to enrolled students only. There is no charge.
At Frankfort Independent Schools, the vaccine will be administered in mist form, unless there is a medical reason to opt for the shot.
Superintendent Rich Crowe said permission forms will go home with students this week.
