I would like to know why the Frankfort Hospice organization is buying the old Hayworth, Meyer and Boelyn building on Teton Trail? This is the same building abandoned by state government due to structural and sanitation problems. Why did the board vote to buy this terrible building when a new building off of Sower Boulevard was a better choice. This deal smells of cronyism. How many Hospice board members live in Two Creeks near the HMB building's owner?
Please do what is right, board members. Change this decision. Don't grease someone by taking a worthless piece of real estate off their hands at the expense of Hospice. Mr. Meyer may be a major donor but the organization will have to work in this building for many years to come and deal with the very same problems state government abandoned. Frankfort and Hospice deserve better.
