To the 'undecided' voting in the KY democratic presidential primary:
I ask you to vote for Sen. Hillary Clinton.
I believe she is one of the most uniquely qualified candidates in our history, considering executive and legislative experience.
Sen. Clinton displays a commanding knowledge of the issues and, as a result, directs substantive policies toward solutions. It's not just a product of intellect, which both our Democratic candidates possess in abundance, but wisdom gained only through experience, and yes, some hard knocks.
Her health care policy is an important example. She learned a hard lesson from her failure in the Clinton administration. Perhaps you've seen factcheck.org's great discussion of why her policy comes closest to universal coverage, and how Sen. Obama's plan will leave a minimum of 15 million uninsured. Both candidates probably want the same results, but Sen. Clinton's experience with this issue, and learning from past mistakes have enabled her to craft a better plan.
This pattern repeats itself on major issues such as solutions for the housing crisis, job creation, or overall economic policy.
Sen. Clinton has become a defense policy expert through her time on the Armed Services Committee. For all the discussion of pre- Iraq war issues, Clinton's military expertise gives her a clear advantage crafting the most viable plan for withdrawing troops, and it allows her to challenge John McCain on security matters. It is a valid criticism, not an attack, to say that Sen. Obama does not have the same credentials after little more than one year in the Senate.
The comments are almost overwhelming about Sen. Obama; how he represents the future, and his enormous potential.
I agree, but the future is not now, and with the problems we face, and have inherited from the Bush administration, our country cannot afford on the job training, or a learning curve. We need someone, who can hit the ground running, and has a proven track record. The only candidate with that ability is Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Thanks for reading, and your support.

Hillary and Obama want to do outrageous, costly, socialist things to us. McCain is an a** with ego issues.
Bill will not be running Hillary's show.
I think Obama is inexperienced at best and is causing more racial issues than he is solving. It scares me. I finally understood what my dad tried to tell me about the Black Panthers and Malcom X Era, while I was watching the Wright speech to the Press organization. I never got the anger of my parents/grandparents generation, the racism. It was fear. Seeing the hatred from those organizations. I understood, watching that speech. Reverse racism isn't going to fix the problem, but just exacerbate it. And he is already lying to us- there is no way he didn't know what this guy was about- he called him family and Mrs. Obama has made similar quotes. We really don't know what kind of change he is advocating and I can't imagine having a Pres. who has an issue pledging to the flag, etc.
I don't think we want just any woman, just because she is a woman. Not if we hope to elect another one anytime soon. I'll wait for a good one. One who also has the qualities that make women great and strong- not just a female copy of a man. One who we at least don't already know is corrupt.
I am going to vote for McCain, the lesser of three evils. I actually do wish G.W. was on the ballot again, he is better than these choices.

Oklahoma is not a border state. It is so close to Texas, that the law makers made a decision to nip the illegal problem in the bud before the Texas illegals totally over ran the border.
If one is illegal here, they need to move on. No public school. No drivers licence. No hospital treatment. No jobs. No Churches can help.
The people that might rent or hire these people are also breaking the law.
The crime rates in Tulsa and OKC have already felt the effects of this new law. The effects look good so far, but it's still too soon to tell.
J1978, since you made the comment, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and think that you thought my tongue in cheek about border states confused you.
Is Frankfort now a sanctuary city? I'm curious. Going from what I read from the State Journal site, it seems so, but I can not seem to contact Bill may and ask him myself.
Anyone with hard information on this will be appreciated.

I don't like to hear vile things about the 'president.'
I don't like to hear anything at all about that miserable excuse for a grown-up.
His image and voice have not been heard in my house since daddy's picks juried him into his private gym on Pennsylvania Avenue.
Eight years of peace and prosperity. If that's a joke, I can stand to hear it for another eight years.

Daily Kos is a very far left site. If you like to hear vile things about the President, check it out.
I made a post about Mrs. Clinton that was taken out of context at a site I pay to be a member of. They send in trolls to copy and paste "parts" of our posts. One of mine was treated badly and the blogger said I should be turned in to the FBI! That's insane. I never said anything worthy of that.
One must be careful how they get their information. One can't just look on the net and trust that everything is valid.
The hard part of being a good citizen when one votes is that one must educate themeslves on the issues. It's not easy. But please don't just vote because someone who is well respected told you to. And please vote. I can't tell you who to vote for, But I can tell you your vote does count and it is your civic duty.
Regards To all.
Frankfort people are great.
Sam Marcus is someone I respect and esteem. I just can't agree with him on this issue.

The alternative to amnesty is tough laws that make being illegal..illegal. The laws must be enforced.
I have no problem with someone coming to this country legally. But now that I live near the border, I can tell you that these people cost money. Plus, they get abused, which is worse. The people who tend to employ them pay them lower wages, don't insure them and OSHA is nonexistant.
This is illegal too. Not to mention that it is wrong on every moral level possible to treat these people in this manner.
I wanted to move back to KY so bad it hurt. Now that Frankfort sounds like a sanctuary city, I am so sad.
Oklahoma has the toughest Illegal law in the nation. Check it out on the web.
Welcoming these poor people sounds so nice. Right now it seems nice to you. And as good Christian/Judeo citizens, it feels so right.
But when it becomes a problem you will most likely be too deep to get out of it.
Please believe me or talk to people you know in Texas, NM, AZ, etc.. They can tell you horror stories about everything from crime to trying to teach children that can't speak English.
Many years ago when our ancestors came, it was a different time. The government did not pay anyones way. Everyone had to make it on their own. Since we have so much of our tax dollars being spent on everything , we can't just let everyone come to this country. That's why we have laws. That's why these people are called illegal.

Mitt Romney is a punch line.
Maybe his sons will volunteer for active duty now.
